“I love the show, but the fandom has ruined it for me. Both the Mayor and Swan are straight. They aren’t lesbians. GET OVER IT.”
I still love the show, still love the fandom. and I can do slash with the best of them (*waves to my OTP’s) but seriously this. Stop making something from something that’s NOT EVEN THERE.
I’ll stop when they stop doing this.

And I still love every one of you even with the presence of Gremmers (LOL), shipping a ship that I have my own opinions on, but I shall not go there now. (And I can’t help but think this situation is mirroring the House fandom - Hamerons [Gremmers] wailing, Huddies [Remmers] bitching about it and Hilsons [Snowings] just sitting in the corner laughing their asses off. LOL oh god not again.)
As a great woman once said, I’ll stop shipping them when they stop being so gloriously gay for each other.
Not to mention Emma’s so butch my gaydar spontaneously combusts every time her biceps show up on screen. Also my ovaries.
No friend of mine (read: no open-minded, not homophobic person thinking straight (no pun intended)) can look at these two and insist they’re not bi at the very least. (And I still think male love interests are something that simply has to be there because of the very same audience that makes these confessions. Look at Xena. Living proof. Living. Proof. “Oh look, we have a show with gay characters. But I mean, we obviously can’t have them too gay on the scale, because that would make the show too gay for our viewers! Let’s just throw in a random dude every now and then and kill them off quickly so that we reassure the fans that our characters are just bisexual, the good ol’ middle ground, pinky swear!”) To which I reply:
Regina: I guess we’ll learn something about the will of the people.
Emma: I guess we will.
*meanwhile, intense eyesex staredown*
