the term “yolo” is unfortunate because if you really understand it, you realize that by only living once, you should probably be more careful about the decisions that you make because they’ll affect you for the rest of your life

instead, I will make a concerted effort at popularizing the alternative “athhbaatwha” which is far more appropriate when justifying reckless and unwise activities

that is; all this has happened before and all this will happen again

which is more along the lines of:

“I can’t help it, my behavior is just an ever-repeating cycle of poor choices so it’s useless to fight it.”

some examples:
